I am Jack's Poetry

Beginnings

     It is so difficult
          to begin
	  again
     The world that we live in
          is so rarely 
	  kind
	  to us
     The word love is often
	  lost 
	  in the midst of feeling
	  loss
	  and pain
     I know not why 
	  there is no time
	  for us
	  to begin
	  again
     If the worst is past
          and I hope
	  and pray
	  it is
     Perhaps now
          that we have lived
	  and loved
	  and lost
	  enough
     Finally
          we can
	  live
	  and love
     Together
          again
     I'm tired
          of beginning
     I'm not ready
          for the end
     I just want
          to end
	  the beginnings
